Dogsy Ma Bone Audition PosterAuditions: Sunday 1 May / 10am – 5pm / The Black-E

Leading artist Marvin Gaye Chetwynd has been commissioned by Liverpool Biennial to stage a brand new production for the 2016 festival. The Turner Prize-nominated artist is looking for young actors, singers, dancers and performers from the local area to perform in it. Auditions are now open to those under 14 and all performance abilities are welcome. Called Dogsy Ma Bone, the film and live performance is inspired by the Betty Boop animation, A Song For A Day (1936), and Bertolt Brecht’s The Threepenny Opera (1928).
