Terminal Experience was one of a series of mixed media events (including 'Cube' and 'Kong') which were created by members of Blackie staff, in this case led by Martin Brems;  in conjunction with poets - in this case Dave Calder and Jim Stewart; and musicians, in this case Death Kit, Nick Morgan and Jim Stewart.

The visit by the acappella vocal group The Persuasions was a seminal event, the effect of the visit far outweighing the 3 days they were with us.  In many ways the poster says it all.

The Story behind Brendan MacCormack's guitar concert this Thursday February 4th,  began over a year ago.  In December 1980, a few days before Christmas, the Blackie learned (in company with 40 other Projects nationally) it would not receive a grant from Arts Council in the coming year.
