23rd May, at The Black-E, 1 Great George Street, L1 5EW. Tel: 0151 709 5109

Join us for our full-length production of Utopia for Now, a play about Basic Income in Liverpool. Created by a community group with an interest in performance, writing and politics.

Be taken on a journey into the not-too-distant future where characters from a variety of backgrounds are thrust into a Basic Income trial. Some of them love it, some of them loathe it.

What would you do if you had enough money to provide for your basic needs without having to work? Do you think it would be a good thing or a drain on society?

The play will run for approximately 45 minutes followed by a discussion. Have your voice heard.

We will be holding a fundraiser on the night for The Whitechapel Centre.

(The play contains some strong language and themes of homelessness and as such is not recommended for children younger than 10).
