Roll up, Roll up and join The Black-E Fun Palace on LightNight for an evening of Aerial Art with "The Body Transformed", creating a special evening to mark the start of the celebratory year of the 50th Anniversary of The Black-E Cultural and Community Project.

Woven together to explore the body of dancers and circus artists, which they have developed during years of transformative training and practice. They have muscles which have been specially developed and which most of us do not have. They have special skills – such as bouncing and catching multiple balls, walking along a tightrope, or performing on a trapeze which the rest of us do not have. Their bodies have been transformed.

On occasions breaking out of the performance, with intimate dialogue that addresses the audience, the artists will share their transformative journey, taking you with them through the pleasures and pains of years of training that transformed their bodies.
Completing the event, The Black-E Youth Arts will be holding workshops and short performances lead by The Black-E Youth Arts Circus and Gymnastics groups.

Performance Date: 18th May 2018 LIGHTNIGHT!

Doors open :5pm

Performance times are: 7.15 pm, 8.15 pm and 9.15 pm
